About The Artwork
This landscape painting is inspired by a view of an old XI century abbey in Umbria, in winter. When the landscape you pass through makes you feel out of time, in a different dimension. And the top of the hill emanates peace and grace, and is truly sacred. I have been extremely lucky to be able to get inside the abbey under the supervision of a great man Antonio, the factory owner, who lives down the hill and takes care of that fabulous place.
