“The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make a heaven of Hell, a hell of Heaven.” "Paradise Lost" was created with acrylic paints and texture mediums. The painting is sealed with satin varnish for protection. It arrives wired ready to hang vertically, but the wire can be repositioned for a horizontal hanging. This particular painting looks great in both positions. The 1.5 inch sides are painted a shade of dark green from the painting. It arrives unframed and because of the 1.5" depth it looks great unframed. My signature is on the lower right and the painting arrives with a certificate of authenticity.

I'm an abstract artist from Atlanta, Georgia. I create my paintings using a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, oil paint, alcohol ink, texture mediums, and oil sticks. My work strives to create a thoughtful and emotional experience drawing you into a world of color, texture, and mood. My approach always starts with a decision to be open and surrender to the moment. A mix of intentional and intuitive paint pours, gestural strokes, or marks create a dance of color and texture that are both spontaneous and deliberate. From there I allow the process to guide me, free from judgements or limitations. As I paint, some elements get covered over while others are revealed again, and the finished painting contains a rich, layered history.
