About The Artwork
My work is based on pure intuition, inspired by the natural world. Organic and biological forms add to the illusion of the components being in the process of revealing themselves. The Passages Series focuses on motion. Each piece is viewed like a single frame in a filmstrip. The liquid acrylic is poured onto Arches paper and I guide it to wear it seems to want to go, or change it’s direction by dragging and reshaping it with a trowel until a composition is achieved and freezes that moment. image 30" X 20" archival framed to 36" X 29" i white wood with plexiglass
