About the Artist, Kelly Telfer "The first car race I attended was at Laguna Seca Raceway in the early 60's- what a great era in racing!" Telfer says. Third generation Californian, Kelly Telfer has been an artist his entire life. With a love for Cars, Motorcycles and can paint or draw just about anything else. Telfer's art is currently featured in a one-man show at the Canepa Motorsports Museum, Scotts Valley, CA. Bruce Canepa has assembled one of the world's premier auto racing, restoration and auto collections known today. Telfer's art has been in group shows in Beverly Hills, New York, and Chicago, as well as many other locations in the US. His art has also been featured in art galleries, magazines and is in corporate and private art collections around the world. He lives and works in Sonora, CA. Kelly Telfer has a real true appreciation for Porches, performance, vintage and classic cars. His company, Telfer Design, has created fine art, design and marketing work for an international and national for the elite of motorsports, including; Canepa Design, the Monterey Historics, Laguna Seca Raceway, the Andretti's, Rick Mears, Brent Kaeding, Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, NASCAR, F1, SCCA Pro Racing & Trans-Am, as well as Sprint Car Drivers & Teams, Motorcycle Racers & Teams, and Racetracks across the US and around the world. His list of contacts reads like a "who's who" listing in the motorsports field. Telfer designed the Porsche Cup Championship stickers in 1980 and 1981. Telfer has owned a Porsche Speedster, a red 1956, featuring SC disc brakes and engine- a real 'drivers' car. He has also owned a beautiful and original blue 1971 911T. Both were incredible finds, the Speedster in a barn, the 911 in a garage. He is searching for his next 356 or early 911 Porsche.
