Power through fear and intimidation Painting

Living under the pressure of covid I wanted to address this pandemic delusion visually, but how? Everyone is affected by it, the basic rights have been massively restricted for almost 20 months (sometimes more, sometimes less) and that is no longer an issue. The mask - the muzzle - as a visible expression of a modern instrument of torture, I wanted to let it float looming over the intimidated, helpless crowd! It has become more difficult to live without fear in Europe today, there have been clear indications for many years that we are dealing with psychological warfare, namely the third world war. It is no longer waged with homemade weapons as it used to be, the cross-border pandemic lies and the prevailing manipulation by means of controlled communication not only intimidate people, but spread fear and horror among them. Power and fear naturally go hand in hand in the socio-political world. Power has many advantages for those who have it and many more disadvantages for those who are subject to it, because power creates fear in those who are subject to it... How do you see it?
