About The Artwork

Orange.... "The hue is quite prominent in Asian religions, and many monks and holy men wear orange robes. In Confucianism, orange is the color of transformation. The word for orange in India and China derives from saffron, which is the most expensive dye in the area...it is seen as the perfect balance between the perfection of yellow and the power of red." from The History of the Color Orange: From Tomb Paintings to Modern-Day Jumpsuits by Jessica Stewart ~ mymodernmet.com "Sphere" artwork is finished in a high gloss UV varnish on gallery wrap canvas which adds a beautiful sheen to the work. Canvas edges are black for a contemporary look. Unframed and ready to hang.
