About The Artwork
I wanted to create a landscape piece which I rarely do. I wanted to keep it traditional but in the end it became a semi traditional landscape piece. The text and general composition of the piece was taken from a Super Nintendo video game based on golf. I had honestly never played the game itself but the box art grabbed my attention. The original artwork had a golfer and some green fields, but I decided to add my own green fields. This luscious green location was just around the corner of my neighborhood, but now it is a construction site for a new hospital wing.
