This is a painting inspired by a friends pic on facebook.  I already painted it once, but liked it so much, I painted it again. This is a still life of apples blossoms, forsythia, and some roses. Spring blossoms.  Yes, I realize we are in fall, but I still could not resist painting them.  You will find I am not much of a seasonal painter.  I paint whatever inspires me, winter, fall or spring! This time I painted these blossoms on a larger canvas.  This painting is 36" tall by 24" wide.  It was a lot different painting it on a large canvas.  I had to get some new muscles pushing that paint around on the canvas!  I also did the roses over a few times, as I had to learn to be looser with them.  I switched to a larger brush and that did the trick!
