About The Artwork
This painting represents many things ... I am a starman, I am aware of our relationship with the stars and our origins. The Vespa motorcycle symbolizes our desires, and we leave our reality behind, without appreciating what we have: the beautiful planet Earth. I have drawn the broken heart because my wife has survived an emergency operation of the ascending aortic vein, touching the heart. The flowers represent my two daughters. I hope you like it, Esteve

I am a self-taught painter from Barcelona. I started painting at age 15, encouraged by my art teacher in high school. At first I painted with acrylic on cardboard and gradually I changed my style to abstract. I stopped painting at 22 years, for various reasons, and I did not painting seriously until 44, back to my original style. My influences, motivated by being born in Barcelona, are the brilliant architect Antoni Gaudi, Salvador Dalí, Miró … And Magritte, of course, Sorolla, Warhol ...The great Moebius, and the bright Mediterranean light. Welcome to my particular world view.
