I am a self-taught, abstract painter from Los Angeles. Internally driven and creatively charged, I was born in South Korea and I grew up in California. Both cultures allowed me to intertwine Sino Korean Calligraphy and Contemporary Abstract Art into my body of work. The creative process for me is one that is both automatic and philosophical. The majority of my abstract works are inspired by my philosophy. For me, creating art is like a reminder I do not want to forget. My artwork incorporates my personal life experiences and work experience in finance industry. I want to share with the world a universal language which doesn't have any communication barriers.
