About The Artwork
While I was painting, I was listening to a recording by the contemporary Christian vocal trio, Selah, of their very upbeat version of the Albert Brumley song, "I'll Fly Away". The lyric is "some bright morning", but I misunderstood it as "sun bright morning" which I thought was a very appropriate title for my painting--an oil and cold wax landscape on wood panel. The panel has been routed with a "keyhole" on the back so that no hanging hardware is necessary.
