I was inspired by Arlecchino's character.
Although the origins of the Harlequin are obscure there are several theories for how the character came to be. One theory posits that the name is derived from a bird with polychromatic feathers called a Harle. Another theory suggest that the name Harlequin is taken from that of a mischievous "devil" or "demon" character in popular French passion plays.

Alberto Angiolin was born in Vicenza in 1977 and started his artistic activities with paintings in 2013. His great passion for drawing and visual arts led him to deeply analyze anatomical drawing techniques and even if he did not attend art college he developed his competencies through a solid and intimate approach to art. In 2013 he met his menthor, Mariella Scandola and from that moment onwards his passion for art became even more stronger: he started to paint portraits in a personal way by focusing on the expressivity of feminine faces and gazes. His favourite technique is oil on canvas. Painter and musician for the love of them, Alberto Angiolin is currently working in his studio in Thiene as innovative graphic designer, always looking for new ways of communication and paints in his house, where he perfectly finds the right dimension to give voice to his artistic intuitions.
