About The Artwork
I love pictures that surprise me (author). The beginning was very difficult. In pleinair at the beginning of March in dreadful weather that did not allow painting outside at all. Then later in the studio , several paintings. And then the picture developed further and further in the direction of realism, which was not necessearily my aim. But this quality left me no choise and who else can paint so well ?

Role models are Van Gogh, Monet and David Hockney, who also took to the outdoors in all weathers...Chrobok has always devoted himself to different forest areas in his work. His love for the VITALSTOFF tree, greenery as well as the sky is stirring. Chrobok enters the fray the canvas in show of force that characterizes "action painting", i.e., like Pollock and Karel Appel.
