I'm working with some digital photographs of clouds, and inverting the colors using graphics software. I like to set up scenarios in my mind, where I can use stamps of military aircraft. Like the genre of war movies, I consider these war paintings. I thought several years ago, during the Iraq War, when I was working with a similar theme, that the subject matter was limited, and I often searched ancient Greek art for validation. Unfortunately, in Modern America, the motif never seems to go away.
