About The Artwork

Some will give you sailing ships. With full sail, spankers, stunners, and rigging. All very melodramatic and pretentious. I give you; Reality, on high seas. The Real Deal. Sitting in friends back garden near where I live. That's Arran in background. Where famous sweaters come from. Wool coated with natural lanolin from hardy sheep. Waterproof and warm for sailors and others. Needed around here. Just down coast is British Navy Nuclear Submarine base. Submarines which are both Nuclear powered and Nuclear armed. See them glide past often enough. Each armed, I am told, with 24 ICBM (Inter-continental ballistic missiles). Each with 12 independent warheads. One missile could obliterate many thousands of square miles. Each submarine, there are several, has enough firepower to call time upon half the whole planet. There is one target I would suggest. Quite happily. An apex weapon. There are those who say such a weapon is incongruous where Dolphins and Lobsters play. They do "play". However in the Great Scheme of Things, within Nature, such a weapon is utterly congruous. See how Dolphins hunt in packs, frighten fish into balls, kill and eat. Part and parcel. You should see how Lobsters eat themselves, cannibals of their young. Part and Parcel. Integral. Reality. Real Deal. Remember lumpen idiotica, both teachers and pupils, at my Ban the Bomb school. Highest quality canvas and fine-art materials. A rich impasto. Boomage.

Lowborn, not a Virtue-Signaller, lacking Luxury Beliefs or their status, but neither an inverted snob, nor a snob. Definitely not intersected. Orphaned, outcast, male, straight, white, capitalist (a tiny fish in a very big pond), quite conservative in fiscal and social matters. In long term and friendly relationship. Prankster, yet pragmatic, singular, evolved, authentic, ironic, sardonic, sceptical. Comparatively deprived early life. Which has had permanent effect. Not least in being grateful, for what I've got. And for true opportunities both recognisable and takeable. These themes within some of these works. Never faked a sarcasm too. Personally loyal to those who have tried to, or have, helped. What else is a man of honour to do? Really enjoy painting, sometimes. In silence, without media lies etc., noticed sound of own breathing as I paint. Expressive, rather than regular! Still learning after all these years. Thank you for your interest.
