Waiting for Change Acrylic,pastel on Canvas 28 x 32” 2013 Basically this painting was inspired by the garden in my backyard. We had edible plant and flowers growth side by side. So in the early spring to summer there are flowers everywhere. Can’t be help by the beautiful colours I had to paint about it colours. As an abstract painter's, I used colours to create rhythm and intensity, I use space with line as border to give a sense of curtain dimension of space, and it shape as a symbol. Viewer may identified with the colours, but the little detail with doodle and scribble are a universal language.

I live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area. I paint from memories from past experience, to create a visual situation with spacial distinctive geometry forms in bold formation, and layerings it with colours and traces of spontaneous scribble to evoke the mental visual reaction. I leave to the viewers to interpret my work, there are no right or wrong way of reaction on my work. It only matter when one respond to it in one way or the other.
