Tom's practice is largely inspired by contrasts in nature and between nature and man. His work inspires an appreciation of opposites and celebrates them with colour, texture and form. Entitled 'Where Rivers Meet the Sea' this piece uses a colour palette evocative of this type of geography, inspired in particular by Galicia in northern Spain where beaches often have a river flowing out of them.
