Tom Glendenning (b. Halifax, UK) lives and works in north-west Spain, studied Art and Design at Leeds College of Art and after that a Graphic Design BA at Kingston University, London.
His practice is abstract painting and image making, largely inspired by contrasts of colour, texture and form. He combines geometric, hand-made marks with more uncontrolled textures and patterns to explore the idea of controlled randomness. His work inspires an appreciation of opposites and celebrates the differences between man and nature.
