About The Artwork
White Flurry on Light Blue is inspired by a snow storm falling in the wind while experienced during an artist residency in Finland. The oil paints applied in short strokes creates a tactile flow, and grooves made by a palette knife add to the movement. From a series of small scale works featuring texture and colours based on macro surfaces. Oil on wood which would sit nicely in a deep box frame or could be placed directly on wall with fixtures.

Her medium is mostly oil or acrylic on canvas/paper. Paintings in an abstract expressionist style. They are created as a result of her explorations in colour, form, texture, depth, mood and movement on a surface. She also finds inspiration in elements and patterns in the environment.
