Birch Tapestry Photograph - Limited Edition of 10

Beautiful abstract image of a birch grove in autumn. Taken on a stunning autumn day at the peak of color. I was volunteering on a trail clearing crew back in 2011 when we came upon a clearcut that totally obscured the trail. I was angry that the landowner had so callously treated the land but shortly after that I was rewarded when I came upon this grove of beautiful birch in full autumn color. The straight image was certainly fit for a coffee table book but as a work of art it just did not seem to have that little bit extra that is needed. Using various digital tools I manipulated the image to give it this more etherial and abstracted or surreal look. I loved this image so much that I decided to create five individually manipulated images and offer only 10 originals of each for sale. The open edition digitally initialed print is created with digital initials to give the appearance of an original without the cost. All my open edition prints feature the digital initial for the same reason but it is well known that images with the digital initial are reproduction prints and only a print with a full signature and a certificate of authenticity is an original.
