Choice of Medium, Subject Matter, and Style: I utilized mixed media photography to combine the realism of the human form with the abstract textures of cactus thorns via double exposure and compositing. This method highlights the vulnerability-defense theme and enriches the narrative, presenting a vivid portrayal of our challenges—both literal and symbolic.
