This work was inspired by Seurat's pointillism technique. The view of this and the next pieces in this series were taken from the top of the Rockefeller Building during sunset and evening on a beautiful August day. The Manhattan skyline is perhaps the greatest man-made wonder of the world. I see it as a monument to human achievement.
