This piece was inspired by the daily evidence of a Trump world. Every day it seems a new social justice issue is dragged out of the past and we continue to fall back in time. "Social Distortion" is what I came up with to illustrate our personal responsibility in how things are unfolding. If we choose to keep our eyes shut to equality and equity issues, we need to acknowledge that and own that choice. If we continue to stay silent given the opportunity to speak up, we again must acknowledge that. Remaining silent and blind to issues that don't directly affect us makes us active participants in shaping our reality. This is a limited edition print on archival thick matte paper, using archival pigment inks, and sprayed with a UV museum quality protective spray. I prefer to let my collectors do their own framing to best suits their taste, so this piece is unframed. If you prefer to have this image customized by being mounted on wood panel, or printed on satin paper, please do not hesitate to contact me at info@radinadroumeva.com :) Dare I say this piece may be a good conversation starter if you, like me, aim to engage people in discussion about current social issues.
