I know this for sure because I got there at 4am only to be greeted by about 50 other photographers. Luckily I managed to find a good spot to set up my panoramic photography gear and wait for the incredible moment when the sun appears from behind the arch. One of the most incredible sunrise moments I have ever experienced. My photography is very unique. I only shoot large format using a computerized robotic mount that takes the image in a series of tiles that are later joined together to create a super high resolution panorama. The resulting image can be printed at extremely large sizes whilst still maintaining ultimate clarity and detail. This method also allows the image to be distortion free as only the best part of the captured image are used in the final joining resulting in a flawless image. Many people have said that my images are so detailed and vibrant that it is like looking out of a window. This is especially true of a large format print like this that completely immerses you in the scene. Additionally, I print on a fine art metallic paper which greatly enhances the look, giving the piece a shimmer that greatly enhances the colors and depth.
