Técnica: Acrilico y lacas tras plancha de metacrilato La técnica que utilizo en estos cuadros es una evolución personal de la antigua técnica de la pintura con óleo sobre cristal. La peculiaridad está en que se pinta por la parte de detrás del soporte, y el resultado se ve por delante, pintándose primero los primeros planos y acabando con los fondos. La renovación se realiza al utilizar planchas de metacrilato en vez de cristal ganando en durabilidad y sustituyendo el óleo por acrílico y esmaltes que permite mas juego de transparencias y grafismos y aumentan adherencia al soporte.

Maria Bejarano, with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, continued her artistic curriculum in different schools of Italy and Great Britain. She has had numerous exhibitions in national and international art fares. Her works of art can be found at the National Library, Seville Town Hall, Ibercaja or Cajasur Banks among other relevant private and public institutions. She currently lives and works in Madrid, searching new trends on artistic communications in new resources with industrial materials such as aluminium and metacrylate. Durante su trayectoria ha expuesto en numerosas exposiciones y ferias nacionales e internacionales, su obra se encuentra en colecciones como la Biblioteca Nacional, Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, IberCaja o Cajasur entre otras. Actualmente desarrolla su trabajo en Madrid donde reside, buscando en nuevos soportes de caracter industrial como el aluminio y especialmente el metacrilato nuevos lenguajes plasticos.
