I have made over 300 life-sized dog sculptures over the last 15 years and I wanted to start making art that is really memorable and worthy of people taking selfies by so I decided to go really big. This monumental dog sculpture is a show-stopper, many people have already taken photos of him and with him and it always makes people smile. It's very colorful and super reflective and it changes depending on the lighting. When the sunlight hits the sculpture it creates hundreds of sparkly reflections. The dog looks changes appearence throughout the day from the cool tones of the morning to the warmer tones at sunset, as well as a cloudy day or at night, it's always fascinating to watch it's everchanging moods.

I grew up in Laguna Beach, California and lived in Southern California most of my life, however, I am now residing half my time in North Carolina. I've been a professional artist for over 20 years, this is my full time job, it's not a back-up plan. I've shown my artwork in galleries across the United States and in Los Cabos, Mexico. In addition to my art I have published for books all sold at Barnes & Noble etc. but my true passion is painting and sculpting. I'm passionate about women's issues, equal rights, the environment and animals. Artist Statement: I often use vivid colors to feature topics with a darker undertone. Some of the subjects I paint about are: women, race, equality, politics, the environment, pop culture, power & mental illness. My work is often iconic and easily recognizable by my unique style of outlining my subjects both literally and figuratively.
