Elizabeth Laul Healey

I grew up in Laguna Beach, California and lived in Southern California most of my life, however, I am now residing half my time in North Carolina. I've been a professional artist for over 20 years, this is my full time job, it's not a back-up plan.
I've shown my artwork in galleries across the United States and in Los Cabos, Mexico. In addition to my art I have published for books all sold at Barnes & Noble etc. but my true passion is painting and sculpting.
I'm passionate about women's issues, equal rights, the environment and animals.
Artist Statement:
I often use vivid colors to feature topics with a darker undertone. Some of the subjects I paint about are: women, race, equality, politics, the environment, pop culture, power & mental illness. My work is often iconic and easily recognizable by my unique style of outlining my subjects both literally and figuratively.
