A mountain-like form rises from a sea of light and dark textured pattern. The hammered copper form emerges from the rust patterned steel surface. Koans act as catalysts to stimulate changes in perception either gradually or at times spontaneously. The mind is set free from perpetual patterns to embrace the world in a fresh and open way.

I choose to work with the basic shapes of circles and squares or Ensos,Mandalas,Brahmandas and Pujas. Endless variations are possible by combining them and rearranging their relationship. My inspiration comes from the Yogic Arts and Architecture as well as the Zen or Dharma Arts. Meditation practice is part of my method and creative process. It is my intention that my artwork offers people a sense of solace and repose in their busy lives.
