About The Artwork
I was partly inspired by proletrian posters, street art, and contrasting weight and textures as well as heaviness and lightness. I wanted it to be fun, but provoking viewer to wonder about whether the balloon is a balloon, or the moon, or anything else that comes to the imagination. The man is a working man, bulky, with his feet on the ground, doing something trivial but portraying him in a way that makes one wonder who he is and what does he do.
