About The Artwork
The idea of a portal arose from thinking about the interrelation between the circle and the square. This spatial drawing shows the portals that are multiplying, gradually transforming into a circle, as both the end and the starting point of our unidirectional movement through time.

Aleksandra Petković was born in 1987 in Serbia. She finished her Undergraduate academic studies (2009) and Masters studies (2012) at the Department of sculpture, Faculty of fine arts in Belgrade, in the class of professor Veljko Lalić. In 2015 she edited and ran the program of Inex gallery, where she had her first solo exhibition in June 2015, THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS WITHIN YOU. The second solo exhibition LIQUID LIGHT was held in March 2016. (Galerija Doma omladine Beograda). Currently lives and works in Lyon, France.
