About The Artwork
Taken from ancient myth and lore this thunderbird is abstractly engineered to convey a feel of mystery and complexity. The Thunderbird and ancient sightings of the creature have drawn and intrigued me with its power and mystique so I had to make it tangible in order to capture it's essence. This piece is made of steel and reminiscent of ancient aztec art. Thunderbird comes read to be hung.
