Transport yourself into a dreamworld with Jan Keteleer's mesmerizing new work, The Twins. This contemplative painting from his Dreamy Women series invites viewers into the private, imaginary space of its twin subjects. Rendered in Keteleer's signature multi-layered style that masterfully blends various painterly influences from realism to impressionism, the work radiates a mystical quality. The color palette is at once muted yet vibrant, with saturated teals and golden hues that seem to glow against the darker background. As the name implies, The Twins depicts two identical young women lost in thought, their facial features and postures echoing one another to reinforce their bonded nature. There is a quiet intimacy in how the pair seem folded into themselves and shut off from the outside world, locked instead inside their own rich inner lives and imaginations. Expertly painted in acrylics and ink on wood panel then framed in sleek black wood, this original work measures 40 x 40 cm or approximately 16 x 16 inches. Larger reproductions on canvas or fine art paper are also available for purchase. For art lovers seeking a soulful addition to their collection from one of today's most exciting talents, The Twins delivers magic and mystery. Let Keteleer's dream women enliven your walls and inner world.

Belgium
From his interests in both classical art and modern / contemporary art, Belgian artist Jan Keteleer (JanKé) works with different styles. Ancient art is one of his interests, but you can also find examples of his work in pop art and impressionism. If you browse through Jan Keteleer's portfolio, you will find beautiful nature scenes, pictures of animals or pop art-based nudes. After years working in commercial photography, he turned his interest to artistic black and white photography. Projects such as Speecless, Silent Dialogues and Roots with Taboo brought him fame. He was inspired by the problems of the multicultural society in Belgium, the coexistence of different national and ethnic groups, the issue of the language barrier and the lack of dialogue between the "old" (the native population) and the "new" Belgians (the immigrants). JanKé attaches great importance to the social significance of his works and integrates them into the context of public space (stations, airports and public transport), prompting the viewer to react and reflect. His projects have received the support of the organization Sprakeloos, which aims to use art to provoke discussion on social issues. He had numerous exhibitions in Belgium (in Antwerp, Bruges, Lier, Leuven and Ghent), in the U.S. (in Dallas and San Francisco) and in Poland (in Krakow).
