About The Artwork
My travel companion stood in the distance in the rocky landscape of Inishmore, Ireland. She was alone in the landscape, but I asked myself the question, "What if she wasn't truly alone?" I printed the image in the darkroom and mounted it to the panel. I printed small sections to montage about her like invisible presences watching over her. Who are they? Lost family...lost friends. Those who have gone before her. Alone but not alone.
