Angkor Watt remains an active spiritual and pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Unfortunately uninformed tourists, with cameras, cell phones, radios and loud enthusiasm, often disrespect the sanctity of this place of worship. The white monkey, suggesting purity, is a sad observer.
