Bedlam Vol.ll Addressing the viewer directly, which is first and foremost myself, letters are scribbled and monologues to fear and bliss are performed. Painting becomes speech torn with passion and illegible with the death in which narrative always ushers apprehension. Art becomes artifice's higher self. A relic to climb to reach for untouchable presence. From a series of gestural abstractions ruminating over the phenomenon of "bed"; the place we dream, make love, sleep, convalesce, hide and and worry and and worry over the fractured psyche's rambunctious sleep patterns...oil on latex on canvas. the profile is is a thick 2.5 inches off the wall.
