Celine Dion, born March 30, 1968 in Charlemagne, Quebec, is a Canadian singer. The youngest of a family of fourteen children, she had an almost immediate success in her home province of Quebec in 1981 with the song Ce n'était qu'un rêve. A series of French-language albums in the 1980s consolidated her popularity in Quebec, while the song D'amour ou d'amitié (1983) earned her her first exposure in France. She gained her first international fame when she won the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, representing Switzerland with the song Ne partez pas sans moi. She then learned English, changed her clothing style and signed a contract with Epic Records in the United States. Her first English-language album, Unison, was released in 1990 and established her as a major pop artist in the North American and English-speaking markets. In the 1990s, she achieved global stardom, producing two of the best-selling albums in the history of the music industry, Falling into You (1996) and Let's Talk About Love (1997), each of which sold over 30 million copies worldwide. She recorded several major international hits, culminating in My Heart Will Go On, the song from the film Titanic (1997). At the same time, she continued to produce albums in French for the French-speaking markets, marked by a fruitful collaboration with Jean-Jacques Goldman... Las Vegas show

France
I am a passionate Dutch portraitist who lives and works in France (Blois). I paint personalities and people who touch me, inspired by their talent and vision of life. My paintings are a tribute to these artists of all kinds, authentic, pure and, in my opinion, talented. I started with figurative Portraits. Now I am experimenting with pop art and contrasting colors. I like to work in series: Forever 27, Jazz musicians and singers, Impressionist Painters, Pop Music Stars, French singing and musical artists. I am happy to share these portraits with you and invite you to discover them here.
