As dark nights creep in ,summer days seem to have slipped all too quickly past. At the other end of the scale, as lockdown eases its tight grip it feels as if the world may have been launched into party mode , by varying degrees. Whenever we feel the nuances of change, which is often, we are reminded to breathe deeply. After all, it is not the absence of fear but in the embracing it , that we step through to compassion for ourselves and others. We need to breath regularly, and do! I do by visiting, or revisiting with the paintbrush, the Cornish landscapes that so many people , including ourselves, love so much. I can recall days when I have walked in the wind and rain with my partner, daughter, friends, or just sat with my paints and been at ease with a powerful world. As winter threatens to dig in, I wanted to share the seascape i am so familiar with, hoping that you too can feel a little of the Cornish magic I am able to indulge in at home.
