I was all inspired when the market was filled with these tiny pumpkins welcoming Halloween and fall season. The idea keep on evolving with my hobby in collecting these old objects from different local thrift shops in the city Copenhagen, Denmark. I could see in my imagination that how all the pieces are shaping together. I wanted a composition which should the subject and object interwoven in such a way that viewing the painting should fill one with the warmth of festive season arrival and beauty. I love oil paint as my main medium it feels so true to work with, starting with basic big shapes and getting in to details step by step with colours which mostly depends on the nature of my subject.
