About The Artwork
this piece is a part of a Series called father/son.all consisting of Paper mounted on canvas and sealed with varnish and nailed to a tenter i made these with my then 5 year old son, at the time it was a spurt of creative energy. and in its extension, i noticed a few problems i had caused. i was dealing with some questions in our relationship, power struggles , communication . the fact is and was that i capitalise on his creativity and i limit it in time and space, i basically raise him to be creative but in doing so i also limit it.
