About The Artwork

"In the Sinkholes and the Seas" is an abstract, acrylic painting on canvas that is part of my Dreamscapes series. It is inspired by the magnificent nature of the Yucatecan peninsula, where an underground river system fills the area with spectacular sinkholes, a perfect place to refresh on a hot day. The green area represents these sinkholes and mangroves, the bright orange the heat of the sun and the brilliant blue in the background the azure waters of the coast. It is an un-stretched canvas and it does not include any hanging hardware.
