About The Artwork
This painting is about the evergreen and famous Hollywood character "Charlie Chaplin" that I have grown up with and admired. He is a pioneer as a comedian in the Silent Movies Era. He is perfect and unique in his own field of action. Hence, I use my own style of perfect symmetrical forms, like squares and checks, to symbolise his flawless performances through which he has won our hearts. Doing this painting has been a very nostalgic experience for me. It is my humble attempt to take you down memory lane and I hope you will enjoy the work!
