About The Artwork

THE WORK IS MADE WITH WITH MATERIALS OF THE BEST QUALITY,VERY DURABLE, the highest quality screen printing acrylic / vinylic colors on canvas. Is Unique piece (UNICUM) The painting expresses my reflection on eros, which mainly concerns its effect over time, its consequences that lead to love that is renewed in constancy. I look very close to the way I feel. From which, the icon of an embrace connected to allusive symbolic presences in the dynamic of the man-nature relationship. The miracle of lasting love is the miracle of a twist of time. Today, when the speed of the hectic pace of our life leaves no room for deep feelings, the need for love of neighbor and love for the world is even greater, it is revitalizing, and, as Albert Einstein said, the love is the most powerful energy in the Universe. As a leitmotif I created the icon of a hug: the arms and the stretched / stretched hands of two people who meet, part of the bust joins the part of the bust of the loved one. Their movement is dynamic, like a "dip" in love. The small butterfly and the red leaves are symbols of natural presence. Top right, male symbols (white helmets). Through the connection between the elements I tried to create an allusive and joyful atmosphere. The dominant color is red, then yellow ocher and earth like colors of embraced bodies. I also inserted the words "Love that lasts", as codified confirmation of the embrace icon. The technique is painting on layered canvas. I have created drawings that I have engraved on screen printing frames, and that I have used as if they were a brush or a mattita, printing the icons by hand, with the direct method, in many layers superposed, until I get the image that brings back what I desire to express. A painting technique that belongs to me and that I have been using for about 20 years. The painting is a unique piece. I intervene transforming the drawings and also using the spatula and the brush. I like this elaborated technique also because it allows me to work on the precise choice of the refined color tone and on the contrasts; the acrylic / vinyl screen printing colors are processed with suitable catalysts and diluents, in proportions that control with the electronic scale. They have a clear intensity, despite the materiality, which does not change with the passage of time. I love this technique because it allows me to work the painting as an impact and at the same time taking care of it in detail. The painting LOVE THAT LASTS - L'AMORE CHE DURA was exposed at the Palazzo Chigi Albani, Soriano nel Cimino (Viterbo), Italy, at the international exhibition "Splash! Un tuffo nell'Eros" curated by the critic Giorgio Di Genova, 4/26 May 2019. Catalog available published by Edizioni Premio Centro.
