About The Artwork
Dimensions: 20x16x0.77 inch approx ( 50x40x2cm) Soft blue-grey, tender lavender, rose-gold and peach colour pallet been used to create the scene of the sun peaking through the veil of clouds. For this painting I used various range of techniques, mainly an old traditional 16th-17th century glazing (sfumato) and blending. This painting would look great in any home décor style. It is ready to hang, can be framed or hung without a frame - this painting is extended over the edges of the gallery wrapped canvas, is wired, signed and dated by me. Alesia takes her artistic inspirations from atmospheric sea sceneries, which she is blessed to observe every day of her life, living on the English shore. She puts her daily observations and memories she cherishes on canvas and creates hypnotising seascapes filled with translucent breaking waves.
