About The Artwork
I have been to National Gallery exhibition "After Impressionism : Invention of Modern Art", and immensely inspired. I like the fact that that was a phase in art history, where artists start to use their own emotion and style, to distort perspective, and use imaginative colours, but not to get to being too abstract yet. I wanted to apply that freedom by painting dream-like image, exploring intertwined emotions, not caring about replicating subjects precisely. It was like an adventure.

I draw inspiration from pop art movement from 1960s, favouring simple lines and strong colours to convey powerful message. Currently based in London.
