Ivan Engelhart, an abstract painter born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on May 26, 1944. Presently living in Miami, Florida. His art features geometric abstract, impressionism and collage, he works with somewhat rough textures, layers and color fields, all in harmony with his inner feelings, so they change from time to time. His opinion is that art should be appealing to the eye and should give the observer a sense of participation and discovery. He respects all forms of art and doesn't believe an artist should be limited and confined to a style or trend.
