“My practice in art is deeply rooted in my memories of space, real in existence as well as imagined; both cartography of heritage and dreams. These memories are dated back to childhood or are freshly created, they are layered on top of each other, forming a labyrinth of existence along with my growing perception and cognitions. When I encounter a memory in a certain sound, scent, plant, or pigment, intuitively capturing it is a routine and it transfers to forms such as photography, audio recording, a few words in writing, or sketching out with charcoal or digital pencil. More often than not, I am amazed in these sophisticated spaces cut into countless units of time, investigating the connection and marks in the wild, cities, temples, museums, and the notes of authors from multi disciplines. Sometimes there is only myself in these spaces of memories. Some other times it is about the whole universe; Sometimes it matters to one part of human beings, and other times it is for another.”
