2019. Oil on burlap, 146x97 cm. "Destací vililí lililí: Material Culture and Terminally Ill Capitalism" is a series of poor and, in a way, ugly still-life paintings, loosely gathered around an almost meaningless phrase taken from "Canción total", sung by Catalonian duo Maria Arnal i Marcel Bagés. Most of the items depicted on these paintings were either saved from the trash can or bound to it. The title of this particular piece, meaning "In Order to Earn an Unforgivable Bread" is borrowed from "Autorretrato", written by Chilean poet Nicanor Parra.
