Pink is the colour associated with femininity and romance whereas combination of pink and black links to eroticism and seduction. An interesting fact is that although today the pink colour is percieved as the colour of femininity,as I mentioned earlier,in the 1920's it was associated with masculinity. "Passionate" is a painting from the "NOlWoBe Art" series - New but looking old,worn but still beautiful. The series is inspired by the atmosphere,the history of old walls,walls that have not been renovated for a long time,places where subsequent generations of people lived.While traveling,you can sometimes come across buildings that have already been abandoned by people,often scheduled for demolition,or neglected tenement houses.I then look at the outside visible old walls with discoloration,remnants of wallpaper,paint.When I take photos of such places,I feel the atmosphere of nostalgia,the passage of time,the aura of mystery.
