What/who inspired the work? Markers are a key to the roots in my art. I have been using them my whole life and have a collection of them. In my childhood I was greeted found and discovered by them. The now vintage Sakura sg7 I can not find. I loved it, coveted it, took pride in owning it at that time. In the 80's writing was a religion. I never realized how much I loved this marker till it was gone. Many times I would two tone them for art adding another color ink which was a cool secret some knew then. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? I think anyone who sees this framed or even unframed will love it. This piece has my type of style in it Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? I choose this style because it is me. I want to take this to the next level and bring the colors together. Not an illustration but the true abstract everyone loves. The hues and context of the paint colors are in complete sync and abstract harmony.
