About The Artwork
This piece of text art was inspired by a famous photograph of Marilyn Monroe reading the very difficult novel Ulysses by James Joyce. She did this in an attempt to prove that she was not merely a dumb blonde. Note the tiny portrait of the iconic Monroe which is captured in her single tear using an encaustic wax method.
